Parent Corner: Must-Have Books

Wordless Picture Books

Some of my favourite pictures books are wordless… or almost wordless. These books encourage attention to detail, promote creativity and use visuals to establish the elements of a story.

Don’t be deceived: many of these books are wonderful for children (and adults) of all ages! In fact, be sure to ‘read’ them yourself before sharing with children. Some deal with surprisingly mature content.
